Perhaps one of the most politically relevant issues in modern psychology is the debate over violent video games. Specifically for the purpose of this article, the effect violent video games may have on aggressive or antisocial behavior in adults. In 2015, the American Psychological Association said that violent video games do have a significant effect on mental health, but many have objected to this claim.
